The seed for Altom Farms was actually planted in the fall of 2007 when Kevin Altom heard of a local alfalfa/hay farm for sale. Located in southern Missouri and nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Kevin seized the opportunity to purchase the farming operation and Altom Farms, LLC was born. Today Altom Farms produces high quality premium products such as alfalfa, alfalfa mixes, fescue, orchard grass and Timothy hay for the dairy and equine industries.

Altom Farms, LLC farms about 1,500 acres of premium alfalfa and hay fields. Utilizing an impressive fleet of state-of-the-art farming equipment, Altom Farms will cut and bale over 10,500 acres of top-rated hay products in a growing season. Frequent cuttings result in superior quality hay with finer stems, more tender forage, better palatability and higher nutrition levels. Altom Farms' products are regularly tested and certified to ensure they provide the highest relative feed value levels available.

In addition to hay and alfalfa sales, Altom Farms provides custom cutting, and custom baling services for its clients. Hauling and delivery services are also available and thanks to Altom Farms' effective fleet of transportation vehicles, they can deliver high quality products to farms anywhere in the United States.

Coy Altom, Kevin's father has donated many hours cutting and baling hay while Kevin's brother, Greg Altom, does everything from baling hay to skillfully managing the office side of the business.
